Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Carrie—the owner and heart behind Always in Season Landscaping.

My love for gardening started early. I grew up on a farm in Marysville, Ohio, where I spent many afternoons helping plant and care for our family garden. Some of my favorite memories are picking fresh peas and radishes straight from the garden, rinsing them off with the hose, and eating them as a snack. Those simple moments sparked my lifelong love of growing things and getting my hands in the soil.
I’ve always believed a landscape should be both beautiful and manageable. Over the years, I noticed homeowners often felt overwhelmed after a project—unsure how to care for their plants or why certain choices were made. I knew there had to be a better way.
That’s what shaped Always in Season Landscaping. I blend thoughtful landscape design with hands-on education, helping clients understand their outdoor spaces. From choosing the right trees and shrubs, to designing perennial landscapes or building raised garden beds, my goal is to create spaces that feel approachable and rewarding.
Teaching is a natural part of how I work. I explain the “why” behind plant choices, seasonal care, and layout decisions, so clients feel confident long after the planting is done. When people feel connected to their landscape, they’re more likely to enjoy it—and that’s when it truly thrives.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me in my own garden, experimenting with new plants, and watching the seasons change. Those moments inspire how I guide my clients’ landscapes—because I know first hand the joy a thriving outdoor space can bring.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a landscaper. You’re getting a partner who listens, designs with intention, and helps your landscape grow successfully for years to come.
I’d love to help you grow a landscape you understand, enjoy, and feel proud of—every season.
